A: Courses and Workshops with Orchard Jewellery

Canceling or changing your booking

Please email me as soon as you know you will not be able to attend the booked course or workshop so that I can try to fill the space. If the space is filled more than 2 weeks ahead of the start date you will be refunded in full. Bookings are non-refundable if they are made or cancelled within 14 days of the start date. This is in addition to your consumer rights (Leisure Activities).

Occasionally an event won’t achieve the minimum number of attendees to be able to run and it will need to be rescheduled for a later date. Should this occur you will be notified at the earliest opportunity and offered a choice of attending another equivalent event (where available) or a full refund.

B: Jewellery Bought from Orchard Jewellery

  1. Every effort goes in to making sure your item leaves my workshop in beautiful condition, and I hope that you are delighted with your purchase, however if you are not satisfied with your order or if you have changed your mind, please contact me within 14 days of receiving your purchase to discuss next steps.
  2. Please contact me prior to returning your item in order to be sent a returns confirmation and, if applicable, a returns postage label. Returning items without completing this step is entirely at your own risk, refunds may not be completed, and the costs of using a carrier of your own choice will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  3. Unfortunately, refunds or exchanges cannot be made for personalised or customised items, or jewellery for piercings (for hygiene reasons), unless there is a manufacturing fault. In the unlikely event of a manufacturing fault which cannot be fixed, I will of course process a full refund.
  4. The cost of returning unwanted and non-personalised items is your responsibility, although the returns postage and any initial delivery charges will be refunded if your item is faulty or damaged (see also:B.5).
  5. Items which are returned (for any reason) must be sent back with all packaging in original condition, or a deduction may be made to cover this. Where the package arrives significantly damaged, you are advised to take a photograph clearly showing the damaged, unopened package, and refuse to take receipt of it, so that I can pursue the matter directly with the carrier.
  6. It is important to note that not all rings and bangles can be resized, or can only be resized up to a certain point in the manufacturing process. After this, an entire new piece may need to be made (e.g. spinner rings, and jewellery with some stone settings or engraving/texturing). As such, it is your responsibility to provide the correct/desired size at the point of commission or purchase, however if you have given an incorrect size please contact me ASAP. Wherever possible I will endeavour to make adjustments at no cost, however this can not be guaranteed. Please consult a sizing guide before making your purchase, or reach out to me for advice, as once dispatched and unless otherwise agreed, resizing will typically be charged for.
  7. You will find all my contact details on the contact page. Your statutory rights are not affected by these Terms and Conditions.
