Come along and make halloween themed jewellery using magical silver clay!
In this workshop you can expect to learn about the material itself, handling it properly, its different potential uses, as well as hands on, supervised instruction on how to fire and burnish your piece into a piece of hallmark quality fine silver. Your piece will be finished, ready to wear in time for the spooky season.
Silver clay is a relatively new material in the jeweller’s toolkit, created only around 30 years ago. It can be used to make a variety of shapes which are more organic, sculptural, or freeform in nature. It can also be carefully moulded or manipulated to make some elegant classic style pieces too.
If you normally wear corrective lenses (including reading glasses) please bring these along on the day.
Please note – We will need a table to work at, and a nearby power source. I will bring table protection with me. Sanding and polishing silver can be a little messy so please wear suitable clothing, closed toe shoes, and be prepared for some dust to hoover up afterwards.

BOOKING: Once your booking is confirmed, I will be in touch to arrange times, location and answer any questions you might have.
WHAT’S INCLUDED: I provide all tuition, tools, materials, and equipment for you to make and wear your spooky treasure immediately! Fine silver clay to make your piece is included, along with sterling silver findings. I will bring some spare clay which can be bought at regular shop prices on the day if needed.
TIMINGS: Your workshop lasts about 4 hours, and can start any time between 10am and 1pm. I will arrive approx. 20-30 minutes beforehand to set up. and you can take a short break in the session at any point.
INCLUSIVITY: If you have additional requirements, I try to be as accommodating as possible, so please get in touch to let me know after booking. If I can’t accommodate your needs I’ll simply refund the cost of one person, or the entire booking if it was for two . The second person is then welcome to rebook a 1-1 session.
VALIDITY: On the given date. Sorry but no refunds or credit notes can be given since this is a one off bespoke workshop.
TERMS & CONDITIONS: My standard course booking terms and conditions apply. Minimum age: 16. All under 18s must be accompanied by a participating adult.
